Merci Train - Maine
We at the Boothbay Railway Village will be starting restoration work on the Maine Merci Train boxcar in the Spring and an unveiling of the restored boxcar is scheduled for Sunday, July 12th, in the afternoon, time TBD.
We at the Boothbay Railway Village are also producing a small brochure on the Maine Merci Car, to be used both for educational purposes and as a fund-raising tool to help us build a Pavilion to house the Car.

Maine has an extensive collection of Merci Train gifts at the Maine State Museum in Augusta, near the capitol building.
The collection at the museum includes the 49 provincial shields that decorated the car when it arrived in 1948.
